I was very lucky to find the Echo Park Springtime line and the Bo Bunny lace to complete Adriane's ballet layout. They danced to a beautiful song called Morning On Boston Common from the film Leap Year.
The letters are Thickers from American Crafts. I fussy cut the flowers and used a die to cut the flourish.
I really love this layout (and I aologize for the poor picture editing!) as far as dance layouts are concerned. We are always challenged with a portrait and a landscape everytime!
Let me know what you think! Do you ever have this challenge? If so send me a link and we can share ideas!
Keep doing what you love to do!
Christa
It's lovely - I love the colours especially, and I don't think the LO looks unbalanced with the portrait/landscape setup! Although I'm on a one-photo-per-page rampage at the moment so I don't have this problem :-)
ReplyDeleteYes Christa, I have some of those to do and I keep putting it off because I love the photos but do not want to make a mess of it.
ReplyDeleteLove yours BTW...very pretty.
Listened to the music after my comment...Beautiful ballet music. I can just see them dancing.
ReplyDeleteAlso love the lace under your photos.
Such a pretty layout to go with these special pictures!
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job of working within the constraints of a portrait and a landscape, and both the same size. Those papers work perfectly with her costume and your layout with its design and embellishments captures perfectly the grace and elegance that is ballet.
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous, Christa! I love the Thickers title. Thanks so much for stopping by during the Handmade Holidays Blog Hop!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful page - love this! Also congrats on winning Authentique's color challenge!!
ReplyDeleteLOVED this page and the COLOUR layout for Practical Scrappers. WELL DONE!
ReplyDeleteAll I can say is WOW! Perfect!
